November 15-18
We have spent a few days in the hustle bustle of Saigon now known officially as Ho Chi Minh City, although the locals often use the older name because it is easier to say. The flight from Danang was very short (an hour) and very comfortable. We have been getting in ins and outs of getting an extension on our Vietnam visas. We also picked up a package kindly sent by our dear friend Karen all the way from the United States which included a lot of deet to prevent mosquito bites and a boatload of sunscreen.

The view down to the busy street from our rooftop bar stop. It is a challenge to move around through the streets due to the many motorbikes, cars, bikes, taxi;s and people!
We had lunch with a man named Trung who kindly received this package in Saigon for us. The package was originally sent to Hanoi by our dear friend Thinh and he sent it on to Saigon. Nevertheless, we received a package from a half a world away with the help of many! Thanks again to all of you!
We managed to sample many restaurants in the city and made it to the Museum of Art. We leave for Phu Quoc island by plane this morning! See you there!
