Denise’s Artwork

Here is all of my artwork as of December 25th. I often paint before going to bed and first thing in the morning.  I sometimes paint in the lobby or looking out of a window in our room. I have enjoyed teaching the hotel staff to draw on occasion. Typically people work from sun up to sun down here. Any break in their work day is much appreciated. In this little way, I can give back to the awesome hotel staff that we have met!

  1. Enjoyed your photos of your artwork, including the interest & participation of the hotel staff. Cool.
Did you decide not to bring your acrylics? It looks like you’re using pastels? Or pencils?
Saw a comment that you were trying to renew your visas. Are you extending your trip? How long will you be gone?
We’ll have a COLD Thanksgiving weekend. Just a dusting of snow now and then, no real snow to speak of, yet.
    Have fun!

  2. Thanks so much for your interest in my artwork. It is more like therapy for me. I am using watercolor pencils, watercolors, and colored pencils. They travel well and they haven’t made a mess yet! We are extending for 3 months in Vietnam and but will only use 2 months. Then onto Cambodia and Laos. Not sure when we will return but most likely April or May!
Take care and we hope all is well!

  3. We will set a place for you at our long Thanksgiving table. We are thankful you are both having the time of your life! You both so deserve it! I love your paintings and have an idea how to display them.

  4. HEY DENISE, ART WORK IS GREAT, VEREY REALISTIC. EVERYTHING IS FINE AND THIS NOTE IS
SENDING BOTH OF YOU HAPPY THANKSGIVING.
