Our view from our hotel in Sapa.

We have been in Sapa for nearly 3 days and we have been loving ever minute of it. We took 3 short treks with Giang who is a local Hmong and very helpful to explain the local culture. Denise wandered the streets and found the local market. We went to the village of Cat Cat on   the first day after a 6 hour long bus ride. We walked all the way up a long set of stairs to a beautiful overlook of the city.

  1. Amazing view from your hotel, looks like its right in the middle of the jungle. The flower in the one pic looks much like our morning glories. The street side cafe and traffic look very similiar to what I experienced in SK. Keep sending the pics and history lessons, Great Stuff. Be safe.

  2. Looks beautiful!!! I”m sure this is giving you lots of inspiration to paint. I’m sitting at my desk right now looking at the print you sent me for my birthday. Thank you!!
